Adelaide Festival of Arts celebrates 50 amazing years of delivering a world class arts festival to not only the people of South Australia, but also attracting audiences right around the country. Artistic Director
Paul Grabowsky presents his second Adelaide Festival and it promises to be a massive event featuring the very best of new music, theatre, dance, and visual art.
Paul Grabowsky said: "The theme of the Adelaide Festival in 2010 is the heart. There are many meaning both literal and metaphorical for this powerful word. Sure, it is the organ which beats countless times to keep us going, a miraculous pumping station, and is used to symbolise love, centrality, the hearth, the centre."
"It suggests generosity, inclusivity, courgae and sheer feeling. Our Festival will therefofre aim to remind us all of our better selves, our best selves in a festival which celebrates our right to dream, to emote, to feel."
